MASTERCLASS MUSIC AT THE

MONTAIGNE LYCEUM

Kunstinn Music School has been working for years with various primary and secondary schools in The Hague. We want to share our passion for music with young people. We think it is fantastic to guide young people on their own musical adventure. This year, for the fifth year in a row, we are organizing the Music Masterclass at the Montaigne Lyceum in Ypenburg.

The Music Masterclass is a general music project for students who are in the first class. Students who are interested in music can sign up for the weekly music lessons. We have three blocks of six weeks each. In the first six weeks, we will musically orientate and the students can make a choice out of different percussion instruments.

In the second six weeks there is the possibility to switch to a melodic instrument. We are going to play an existing song and we will focus on creating music together.

The third six weeks we take up the challenge to make a composition ourselves.
Of course we work towards performances at the open day and at Montaigne on Stage.
